    Thumbs up Reduced to Sell....

As most people seem to be at Gitex and might not understand the opportunity of this offer or the quality of the new MacBook, I suggest two videos:
    Apple - MacBook
    http://stream.qtv.apple.com/events/o...sd_650_ref.mov
    and this link:
    Apple - MacBook - Features
The new MacBook is by far the most pleasing laptop I've ever seen & touched. My personal favorite features are the LED display and 5x faster graphics, Glass track pad with multi touch, ALU Uni Body, and the 5 hours battery life.
After informing yourself, consider the reduced price...
Have the gorgeous new MacBook in your hand today for only
    6200 AED (ono)
This is less than the old black MacBook, still being sold in Dubai today!
    PM for more info...

For whatever it's worth, I just figured it out-

If I were to buy this online from Apple and have it shipped via Aramex (and include the stupid sales tax), with duties and shipping it works out to:

    6211.60

    (give or take a dirham)

    Ok, thanks Hanzo...
I am not sure exactly what Aramex wants but the US sales tax is 8.5% and UAE customs fee (not a tax!) is 5%, and my creditcard gives a rather bad exchange rate varying between 3.75 to 3.82...
    Then add the transport!!!
This MacBook has been in my hand luggage all the way, very well looked after all the way from USofA..
AND you can have it TODAY!!!

US Sales Tax varies based on location.
For example, in Somerset County, PA it's 6%

And I was really just pointing out that 6200 was quite reasonable for a new in box macbook.

    ...more on US salestax here:
Sales taxes in the United States - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Observe also that a recent change in law removed the tax exception for sales between states if the seller has representation in the buyers state. I.e. using Aramex shop&ship will always add US salestax for apple products, if you would be able to use your creditcard...
Yes, I also think that 6200 AED is reasonable, thanks for pointing that out...
I don't think prices in Dubai will be lower than that, but we will have to wait and see...
Get your alu macbook today - PM me now...
