No, snow7, we won't put it on the front page. However, if you donate the MBP to EmiratesMac (we can always use more stuff to run the site) we will put a message saying 'thank you' on the front page :-)

STOP PRESS The laptop mentioned above has to go by this weekend, coz after that I'm outta Dubai for a while. So I'm letting this baby go for Dhs.9,200 Now thats an impossible deal to beat. You can't get that price anywhere in the world, even in the USA. Post here if you are interested.

Well, snow7, we wish you luck in selling it... if by any chance you don't our offer is still open to donate it to the site - we will put it too good use and you will get some cosmic brownie-points for the good deed

I'm interested in it, but I do have a couple of questions: -How long have you had it? -Any dead pixels? -Is the keyboard English or English/Arabic? -Is the RAM one stick or 2X512? Last edited by CeraD : 21st May 2006 at 01:03.

No dead pixels. Keyboard is US english, as it was bought there. RAM is single stick. Few extra notes: Apple sells two 15.4" versions - high spec and low spec. Difference: 1.83Ghz vs 2.0Ghz Processor 512 RAM vs 1GB RAM 80GB vs 100GB Hard Drive 128MB vs 256MB Graphics Those are pretty significant differences. Now the deal is that the laptop I'm selling is NOT the low spec one but the high spec one. Please keep that in mind. Cheers Last edited by snow7 : 21st May 2006 at 04:51. | |
