"Forum" by definition is a non-commercial place. Maybe for "sell-buy" topics "Mac-Souq" should be created to allow people publish their adds?

Worth considering. We created "Buying and Selling" for the purpose of "ads" for people wanting to buy or sell.

I'd be interested if it weren't for the fact that I would have not only a Powerbook G4 I am trying to sell (see the buying and selling section for specs) but a new Macbook.....

Unless of course there are any takers on that????

You're asking for 2500 dollars for a used computer?

I love Macs, but an apple comuter is much like a mitsubishi, 1/2 of it's value is gone the second you drive it off of the lot. I mean, look at what price it went up to on Souq. that's what it's worth used and in the UAE. selling it on ebay in the US would get you a better price. but even then, probably around 2k.

Good luck though, maybe try al-Waseet? A small ad in the computer's section would cost about 60 AED.
