I'm coming to Dubai all the way from Finland in february and I was wondering is there any way to get a factory unlocked 3GS in UAE and what are the prices? I'm also interested to buy it used if it's in good condition.

iPhone 3GS 32GB price in Finland is 528 EUR = ~2800 AED and it can be only bought with a two year contract and it's also locked to the local carrier.

Am I able to buy directly from Etisalat or Du without contracts, because I'm not UAE citizen, there's something about passports or visas in the Etisalat website.. But if it's possible to buy new one it would be great. But i'm still interested in used one as well.

Just to clarify: You mean you're NOT able to buy directly from Etisalat or Du without contracts (prepaid) because you are not a UAE resident? You should be able to pay prepaid, even as a non-resident. For a postpaid phone on a contract you'd have to be resident, I think.

I have an Iphone 3GS 32 GB from Du but without a plan and it is brand new less than one year used.

I want to sell it if still interested.
