Wanted: 65W external power supply for 17" PowerBook
Hi all,
Well, last weekend was a bad one for my computers... Two of my laptops died. Unfortunately one of them was my beautiful 17" Aluminium G4 Powerbook. Failure mode was typical from what i have read on the web - the power cable between the ps and the notebook burnt out at the ps case. As anyone who has used these computers knows, the cable isn't exactly heavy duty.
So, does anyone out there have one for sale or can recommend a shop that is likely carry them or order them in?
I recently upgraded it to 2GB ram so would like to resurrect it.
The other one that died was a Dell Precision M70 that looks like it died due to fan failure and subsequent overheating....
*aarrggh*
Thanks

I ended up buying a replacement power supply in an electronics shop in the Marienplatz in Munich, Germany on my last trip there. 79 Euro it cost and it was the last one in stock. Don't expect to see them again but at least the Mac is up and running again!
