Screen Appearance has changed

Hi,

After running Power Point (MS Office 2008) on my MacBook, and viewing the presentation via a projector, my screen appearance has 'changed'. It looks wider and almost blurry. For example, when Mail application is running, only part of the 'window' is able to be displayed, and unable to cursor across to the area which cannot be seen.

I had the same problem on my PC laptop, but a right click the screen and select (I think) View Normal. But this option isn't available on the MAC.

All suggestion welcome.

A few setting changes in System Preferences - Displays has sorted it out. The display somehow went to 800x600 stretched, presumably to format the Power Point to the projector.

Anyway, all sorted now.

Zaid Al Hilali will become famous soon enough
Pressing "Detect Displays" button in the Displays System Preferences would fix it.

this tends also to happen with windows vista, once you connect it to a projector it changes its mode which disables the mouse and only arrow keys and enter works,. you can change these setting by function F3 in which it restores it back to its original condition.
