Is this with a web browser? And it's the same with different browsers?

Did anyone try to Google the problem? Here's a suggested solution (the last post). Let us know if it works.

Here's the post:

I am pleased to report this question was answered. Three files (plists) were corrupt causing problems with the browswer and with adobe reader applications. I found them by using Ben's first advice and finding out I had a corrupt file in my account. Did some research and went into my Library prefs. I looked at all prefs affected by the date of the apparent problem which was March 4.

I took all those that made sense, like internet plists, adobe plists, and syndication plists (safari) and left ones that were not applicable (dashboard, login windows, etc). Toss all of them, about 8 plists.

Problem went away! So process of elimination and here's what i found: three bad boys!
com.apple.internetconfig.plist; com.apple.internetconfigpriv.plist; and com.apple.internetconnect.plist.

When put back in each one the problem reoccured. I finally tossed only those three and I am back on track.
The plist files are in Library/Preferences or in ~/Library/Preferences
