Problems with email attachments

A friend has a problem with attachments in sent mail.
A lot of the mail he sends messes up the attachment, sometimes dropping it all together.
He is using Mail.

Yes, the "send windows-friendly attachments" is selected.

BTW, does it matter if you attach a file by dragging it or by pushing the attachment button?

No, I dont believe it matters, I drag most of my attachments and never have any issues.

Maybe the attachements are over the size limits of his server?

What email service does he use? If he can, configure another service and try sending with it and see if that works, like with GMail or something.

He uses Etisalat.
I can try configuring Gmail or something.
But these problems happen when he sends to Windows.
