Problem with keyboard

Recently I've installed new OS 10.4.8. I face one irritating problem i.e with the input source i.e I am using English & Arabic (Green Moon) keyboard. But the problem is this anytime I would like to use any application(for example ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR) the keyboard automatically convert to arabic keyboard(may be it is in default) which is very irritating every time I have to change to English keyboard.
The question is this, is there anyway to keep English keyboard as a default & Arabic to be used on keyboard command.
Thanks

go to system preferences > International
drag english to the top of the list, and put Arabic beneath that.

I usually take out all the rest of the languages I don't need.
To do that, click Edit List, then unselect the ones you don't want.
