How can I disable this? Hi, I have a small problem with my laptop. Whenever I try to charge, while it is turned off, it turns itself on even if the screen isn't open. Is there is a way to disable this function?

I wonder if it has any thing to do with the Energy Saver option in the System Preferences. Inspect the Energy Saver window. Check the following option… Settings for: Power Adapter Then click on Options button See if this option is ticked… Restart automatically after a power failure.

Strange behavior indeed... i checked it on Mine, same thing.... even though the acwake is set to 0 as well..... more strange, if the laptop lid (display) is open it doesnt wake up from sleep when ac adapter is plugged, it only wake up when the display is closed ! when the AC adapter is unplugged, and display is closed, i cannot wake it from sleep even if its connected to external display with an external keyboard !!!! unless i open the display !!!
