HP Printer issue

hi all,

i do have problem in connecting my macbook to HP Printer ( HP Colour Laser Jet 2600n and HP deskjet 9300 ), can someone help me out.

Hi,

Thanks. actually i connected the macbook (2.4 Ghz) in the network printers( 2600n and 9300) with the IP address, but i could'nt print anything, i want to know whether HP supports macbook are not?

Mabook supports HP printers. Check Printer driver u installed supports your OS version.if no download suporting driver version from HP site and install.
If driver is compatible with your OS version then try to ping from your system to printer with printer IP.

i tried to download the supporting drivers, but the drivers are not supporting this OS ( leopard 10.5.3)

Did u using any other HP printer with ur system.
If no, goto HD/library/printers/hp, trash it and clear trash [copy the folder(for future use)]. after perform restart . then install the new driver and restart again. check the printer is connected.Perhaps tis can solve ur problem. Some of the drivers fails to complete install, if older version driver files in driver folder.
