Fixing MacBook CD drive

Hello,

Even though my MacBook Pro is only just over two months old, the CD drive is not working - it immediately ejects any discs inserted. I am going to London soon and was wondering whether I should get the Mac fixed here or in London - any suggestions?

You might want to start a new thread.
Otherwise, you may not get the response you are looking for.

It all depends on when you are going and how long you will be staying.
Do you have the time to service the Mac there, and wait until it finishes?

thx, i must confess that i tried to start a new thread but cdnt figure it out - i thought that by putting in a new title...

anyway, i should be in london for a couple of months so i think that's enough time - shd i do it there?

It seems like a good idea.
My first recommendation is to look at your personal preference.
