Leopard, can't empty trash - Page 2

Usually after a clean install, after restarting the computer. one get to see Mac OS X "Welcome video" its with music and all, the word 'Welcome' in different lanuages.
Also when someone buys a new mac and first time one starts the computer you see this video.

alright, I know that welcoming OSX music and animation i like it, but I'm trying to link it to our trash issue?! Any link?

My dear Zaid Al Hilali, you haven't answered any of my queries.
Is your probably resolved? if not try creating a new user account. and try emptying trash from there.

Could work and worth a try, but I believe that each user have their own trash.

If it works than one can keep this new user account, transfer all the document/data, give admin privileges to the new account and than trash the old account!

Hey Vinpin, thanks for your reminder. Well I am not using Leopard on my main Mac so I'm not bothered about such issues.

I created a new account, trash works fine there, so obviously it is not a system deep issue but a user deep rather.

I installed Leopard on an iMac G4 today, every thing works better than my intel MacMini!

hey guys i have the same problem i just cant empty the trash, and i don't know wt to do i downloaded the programs you mentioned and i think its for tiger not for leopard please replay cuz i dont know what to do thanks

hey guys I'm new in using mac and i have Leopard OS
I'm having the same problem: I CAN"T EMPTY MY TRASH
any help in removing the trash files!!!

update your system.
When Leopard first came out, there were a few issues.
Updates have resolved them.
This is one of them.

If your system is upto date.
Please post again.
