Most things you can just copy. Burn to CD or DVD on Windows, then copy it to your Mac. There's Move2Mac which is supposed to be pretty good. I've never used it myself, but I've been told it's worked for others. For Outlook there's Outlook2Mac (never used it myself). If you use an IMAP account it's even easier, then everything is on the server and you just set up your email on the MacBook and you're done.

I think EmiratesMac has answered some of your questions, but I just wanted to welcome you to the Mac Family! Congratulations on your new Mac.

    Moving to a Mac

    HI ABoodi,

Other options that are also available to you when moving from a Mac to a Pc. Is to use an ethernet crossover cable (or 2x straight through cables and a switch / Hub and transfer data that way.

If you happen to have limited data and are sitting on an E1, infact anything up through E5 will do, then using apples idisk is also an option.

Isn't that what Outlook2Mac does (linked to in the earlier post)?

Okay, you have to run it in Windows to export the mail. You don't have access to Windows with Outlook?

There's also this, but it also requires you to do things in Windows first.
