I tried severals ways :
* Press Eject Key on the keyboard
* press and Hold the eject key while restarting
* Press the mous key while restarting
* press F12 while restarting
* Reboot using frimwork and type eject cd
* tried to find any emergency eject bottun around the CDRoom , But i think it didn't come with PowerBook 12"

also
I tried to use utilitie/terminal and type: disktool -e disk0

But also didn't work

As i explaned : the disk sound it's coming out and disspapper he icon from the desktop but then it's go insid again and start reading it and show the icon again as i insert it .
of cours the Disk don't come out at all , so i'm not abil to catch it .

Try MacFixIT

Don't get upset already,

There may be others who can help here if you can provide details, such as: Whether your computer is a desktop or laptop, what type of Mac it is (G4/G5), Slot CD Rom or tray type… etc.

For a tray type there have been always a pin hole to eject CDs in emergencies. In a G5 PowerMac I think but not sure you can remove the CD Rom from inside the casing easily to try insert the Pin.

I am not a hardware technical person, but if you are in a hurry post your Mac issues on MacFixIT website. Otherwise wait for other members to assist you here.

Does the disk show up Disk Utility? If it does, can you eject from there?

iMac CD ejection

Gentlemen,

Though I've been a member for some time but that was gearing up before I buy my iMac.
I have similar problem to what been described in this thread. a CD was loaded in the CD slot, it doesn't appear on the desktop (I guess it was inserted wrongly), I tried to eject it in many way including the procedure mentioned in the thread but am not succeeding. I am trying to avid sending the machine to Mac maintenance.

Any suggestion?
