    iMac 27 inch Stand Removal

    I have two questions for the forum.

    a. Is it possible to remove the stand from my 27inch iMac, if so how?

    b. If the stand cannot be removed, is it possible to purchase a hard case in which I can transport my iMac?

    Since Apple sells a VESA mount kit for it, it would seem like it's removable.

    Thank you. I was not aware of the VESA mount kit. Continuing my research I have downloaded the fitting instructions and viewed a video on the web. It is now clear and yes I can remove my stand.
