Not much

As with most notebooks there's not much you can do to upgrade.

You can put up to 2Gb of RAM.
You could get a larger hd and put in it, up to 120Gb or so.
You could get a PCCard and get more USB/Fw ports.

But that's about it. You cannot upgrade graphics card. You can use an external monitor, and external drives to increase storage.

What is it you would want to upgrade?

Correction: This is not a MacBook this is a PowerBook. I don't want to add to this confusion, but in summary, Apple renamed most of their products lately after switching to Intel chips. So the Laptop you are enquiring about is an older model of Macbook that runs on PowerPC Motorola chip, hence it will run Mac version of Adobe Photoshop (your other post) perfectly.
