This is an old issue that I forgot to close sooner.
For anyone interested in the the developments of this post, I would like to say that after I took it to Macstore in Abu Dhbai mall, they not only got the screen issue rectified within a week or so, but very kindly let me take out an "old stock" machine as a recompense until my unit came back.... that's great service you don't see often.
