Broken MBP

Hi there I hope this is the right place to post this!!

I bought a MBP in Dubai but now I live in the UK, my MBP seriously needs applecare support I was wondering if I would have to ship it back to the UAE or if I could do it all in the UK?

Any advice greatly appreciated,

L

Welcome to the site!

If you bought it in Dubai you didn't buy Applecare for it, right, since they don't sell Applecare here. And I guess it's a bit late buying Applecare now since it needs service. But perhaps you bought Applecare once back in the UK.

Did you try contacting a UK dealer or service center? I think they would be better suited to answer your question.

Sicne it's a MBP it's still under warranty. Apple has worldwide warranty so you could take it to a UK dealer/service center and get it fixed, if the problem falls under what the warranty covers, of course.

Hi thanks very much, I'll call a dealer tomorrow. Hope it's straight forward and quick, I use it for work so can't be apart from it for long! Thanks again and great forum. Luke
