spell check help needed

Hi:

I used to be able to add words to the dictionary, but for some reason I can't any more.

I've tried a number of times to figure out the preferences, but can't seem to be able to do it.

Any suggestions

in Entourage, it checks my emails for spelling before sending out.

Earlier, I was able to add words to the dictionary so that they would not show up again, but am not able to do that any more. The add word button is no longer active.

I'm not able to figure out what setting I've changed !!

Entourage Dictionary is handle by Word Dictionary. If you are on Mac Office 2004 and need to edit the dictionary in Entourage. You need to go to Word Preferences -> Spelling and grammar -> click on Dictionary, then select custom dictionary then click edit. From there you can add, delete and edit those dictionary words and you will be able to save the custom dictionary. Do not forget as well to re enable the settings "check spelling as you type"
