| Mobile Excel transfer Hi everyone, I transferred some excel file i use from my Pocket PC SD card to my iMac, in order to print hard copies. All this process went perfectly, using a card reader. When I attempted to open the same excel file from the SD card on my Pocket PC, I get the message: " An error occurred reading 'abc file' because the file is in an invalid format" Only the excel files that weren't read during the transfer from SD card to iMac for printing, are still able to be opened on the Pocket PC. Any ideas? I didn't alter (not knowingly) any of these files whilst reading/copying. Thanks. |

| Sounds like they were changed somehow so that Mobile Excel doesn't recognize them anymore. So Excel on the iMac can open them straight from the card? Have you tried creating a new Excel file with the iMac and saving it to the card? If so, does that open on the mobile device? My guess is that Mobile Excel has a different file format than desktop Excel. Perhaps something like Missing Sync does the correct conversions, but I wouldn't be an expert on it since I don't use Windows Mobile at all. |
