    Entourage and Mail.app

    Hi guys,
I have a few questions. I hope someone can help me with them...
First off, the only reason I use Entourage is that I can connect to my company's super secure (no IMAP, POP3...etc) using the exchange address: https://webmail.XX.ae
That works fine for almost everything except company directory (which I manually import almost every month).
I would prefer to use Mail.app.
    1) Is there a way to configure Mail.app (even through some third party add on) to fully work like entourage using (https://mail.XX.ae) as the address for exchange.
    2) Is there a way to connect to my company's active directory? What to I need for that?
    3) I get a lot of mail which I file month by month (incoming and outgoing). The .mbox files become very big and eat up my hard disk space. Is there a quick way to drop them off on a external usb HD and have entourage connect to them automatically whenever the disk is attached. Any other way to manage those files? I need to access them quit often.

Appreciate someone with experience guiding me here.
    Thanks

Use a Gmail account for backup. Set GMail up a IMAP account then you can just drag emails over to it.

Hi -- you seem to be a very experienced user..

Well - could you help me out ? I am currently using Mail but would like to switch to Entourage -- but don't manage to set up my email accounts there .. !! only one out of three works.

Can you help? Or do you know who may help?

You really only need to ask in one place. What are the problems you're having?
