Firefox 3 permissions problem

I downloaded the .dmg file OK on my MBA. However, when I tried copying it to the Application Folder to replace the current version of the Firefox, I get a Message to say " The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges for some of the items" Not too sure what does this mean and what should I do...? BTW, I managed to install it on my iMac with out any problems.

You do have an older Firefox in the Apps folder, right? My guess is there's something up with the permissions on it. Throw that in the trash first, then try copy the new version and see if that works.
