iPlayer Download

I found this on the Mac Format website.

iplayer download

It is supposed to download the TV shows from the BBC iPlayer. I have tried it on a couple of shows but couldn't get it to work.

Do you think that it is because, the iPlayer will only work in the UK and the therefore is blocked from iplayer download too?

Or is it cos it is designed for Tiger and I am running Leopard?

I wouldn't of thought the latter would of mattered to much.

I haven't tried it but I am pretty sure all BBC iplayer services allow only UK users, based on your IP address.

Yes, but you can't download them either. This is supposed to be able to download the show, so I was wondering if you could down load them here also.

I understand the iPlayer doesn't work on a mac so someone has made this software to download the show. He does say that he thinks the BBC wont be happy but hopes that is jumps them into action to make the iplayer available to macs in the UK
