| 10.5.2 - combo versus auto-update Just finished installing the combo update for 10.5.2, FYI Mac OS X and iPod Troubleshooting, Support, and Help - MacFixIt is recommending a manual update as opposed to software update, got this from Mac Rumors: Apple Mac Rumors and News You Care About , and then go for the graphics update, so far so good, not sure why a combo update should make any difference. |

| yes, but can anyone actually download the update in Abu Dhabi? My connection to Apple servers craps out after a couple of minutes -- I can see there's no traffic moving using Activity Monitor. I'm in a hotel using their internet. By the way, why is it so damn difficult to find public -- and affordable -- internet access in Abu Dhabi? I look around for the iZone cards and get lots of blank stares. No one knows what the hell I'm talking about? And the hotspots are few and far between. So far, the internet access in Abu Dhabi sucks. It was better and more reliable in Lebanon. What gives? I thought this place was wired and high-tech. But it resembles an upscale Damascus more than anything else. | I've not had much problem with finding wifi in AUH but then I stick to the usual places like Starbucks where I know there's iZone. I don't like paying for it but if that's what there is I'll take it... better than nothing. |

| Word of advice, stay away from iZone cards. I bought the 120Dhs card and was able to use about 20 Dhs worth. When I tried to call Etisalat on the number on the card, but it was disconnected! I guess Etisalat didn't pay their bill! |
