You need to check its compatibility with Leopard, that's normal when you upgrade the system you may have to upgrade all or some of your existing applications.

Missing Sync 4 doesn't support it. So I can't synchronize my Windows phone.

I always have an Applications alias on my dock. But now it gives me the address book icon (first icon in the folder). I hate how that and the download icons always change in the dock.

I have installed "drawer icons" for stacks and removed the 3D effect on dock.

Other than that it seems solid and great.

Lot of people ditched Extensis Suitcase long back. They now use Linotype FontExplorer.
I have not tried on Leopard yet. but should have no problem.

And, Ho! I forgot to mention. Its Free!

hm, so wat shud i do abt the hardware specs then? take it to iStyle or IMC?
or shud i wait for another update and then try?
i duno how there can be hardware compatibility issues
the onli hardware change i got on my macbook was a ram upgrade frm a 512 to a 1.25Gb....
even the RAM was bought frm Mac Store
+ i did a clean install, backed up my files, formatted my HD and then installd leopard

@acutabove
i kinda like the flashiness of leopard:P i personally think tht till Tiger, Mac was used majorly in businesses, but over the past 3 yrz, i've seen a drastic increase in home-users aswell using mac. so they need to make it a lil more attractive for home users aswell. thts my point of view tho. every1has preferences. but im gna stick with leopard and not go bck to Tiger which most of my frnds are doing until the leopard is stable enuff

ok, i did a lot of research tonyte becuz frankly, the kernel panics were getting on my nerves. seems like Magnus was right (which i expect, since he'z aparently been into mac for quite a while )
apparently, this is a known issue to Apple, even prior to the 10.5.1 updates, but has still not been dealt with. it is caused by a combination of airport and azureus/transmission, which basically means tht it is due to high usage of internet using airport. if the mac is plugged in via cable, and airport is turned off, then the kernel panics just go away, or so they seem to. more information in Kernel Issues
i hvnt tested plugging in via cable, cuz wirless is just too darn comfortable, but i will put it on testing from tomorrow and work my way thru the whole of friday downloading heavily.
by saturday, inshallah, there will be resutls(hope for positive ones) just hope apple comes up wit an update soon and take these pesky kernel panics away

If I would happen to get repeated kernel panics, first thing I would try is the typical (repair permissions, etc) but then I'd try different RAM sticks (yes, even if they were bought from iStyle ). Swap in completely new sticks and see how it works. The three times I can remember having this happen with my Macs running Mac OS X the reasons were: 1) bad motherboard, 2) bad RAM, and 3) something with permissions (booted in Single User Mode and fixed it). If I just get one kernel panic it's not worth it but if they keep happening, it may be.

From the time I have installed Leopard, my system seems to have slowed down. Any one else experienced this problem?
