Okay let me have a think about this, in the meantime could you let me know the following:
iMovie or FCP?
1080i 50 HDV?
Does it have the same stuttering or slo mo effect when you play it as a self contained movie in QTP?
What version of QT were you using?
When you scale up the picture (Full screen) does it get worse?
As I have edited a lot of HD footage in FCP and have only seen the effect on slow pans in 720p and complex images in 1080i 50.
As I said just curious?

iMovie... 1080i.. (50 ?) + Qt 7.0 & Scaling ok.
I used to get (Cut off parts) on my old cam, when I stick it on my racing car. and it the car vibrates, it cut of few sec, althou if you connected it to TV, you will be able to see it.
Anyway, with the HD DV, I see everything is fine, just the motion is a bit slow, but what you notice the most is the Voice.
Sooouuuuunnnndddssss vvvveeeerrrrrrryyyyyyy fffffuuuuuuuunnnnnnnyyyyyyy, aaaaannnnnddddd hhhheeeeeaaaaavvvvveeeeyyyyyy vvvvvvvooooooiiiiiiicccccccceee!!!!!

So, I've exported to QT & saved a copy on DVD. I got the same effect as it was on iMove HD.
Now, I tried to upload (4 Hrs of video, "as a iMovie HD Project") to iMovie 08. It is very slow, it asked me if i want to regenerate thumb nails.... and it is taking ages. over 12hrs.
I uploaded another project, took only 30min ( 3hrs Video project)
(%(&%)&*^&(*_&*((*&
Anyway, I am in a big mess now..
I stopped reloading, deleted files in iMove folder, and now I can not cancel my uploaded to iWeb... because I don't see it in iMovie 08.
AAaah!..
Thanks for your help man. I will keep you updated
