Does any one know how I can log on AOL using mac here in the UAE?

Are you asking, what is the best Mac application for that?
Because there is AOL desktop, for a start...
Or are you referring to the issue of blocked access?

Yes, you're right. I'm talking about blocked access. I have an account with aol. I can only access it through a browser, but cant use its desktop.

Is there a way?

I'm not an expert in aol, I don't really know what iChat in aol is. But all I need is how to log on aol desktop (not through a browser). Singing in does not work. By the way I"m using mac.

I have never used AOL's software so this may make no sense... Does it work on a PC if you've tried it there? Does it work if you have a VPN connection?

Check your settings and make sure u have the following:
Server: login.oscar.aol.com
Port: 443
SSL off
