    New forum for iPad ?

A great re-design for a great website - congrats guys!

So now the big question is: are we going to have a new forum for iPad? Since there are 2 for the iPhone and then 2 more for iPod / iTunes...

Also, would you consider moving all of these together under the same topic? After all there are strongly related - and still only 5 forums in all, just like EmiratesMac or EMUG, whereas the Mac Stuff topic alone contains a dozen...
    Cheers,
    -Michl

Thanks. Actually it's not designed at all, it's the plain default vBulletin style. I just changed the logo at the top left. We're working on getting a complete redesign but I wanted to take the first step of getting us to vb 4 and so far I'm really happy with that.

iPad forum is a good idea. Perhaps some consolidation of forums is due, will look at that.

Oh well I didn't know vBulletin so... but a quick trip to vbulletin.org fixed me up :-) Now the similarity of design is obvious. Anyway, if not for the design, then thanks for EmiratesMac and for working hard at improving it. It's nicer and faster now, and more readable on iPhone I think...

I agree, it seems to work better on iPhone, not just readability, they also seem to have fixed some Javascript things that previously didn't work very well, so that's great. For those interested one big thing they've done with vb 4 is move from tables to CSS for layout so the possibilities are now open to almost anything. It also means a bigger challenge for skin designers though so vb 4 skins will be slower to come out I think than for previous versions.
