It's a great idea.
It's something I see myself using a lot.
I have already read more articles on Shufflegazine than I usually do.
But it would be nice if we could get the 2 to feel more integrated.
It was asked for at last EMUG meeting that there would be more integration between Shufflegazine.com and this site. So I created the News headlines for Shufflegazine.com forum into which posts from Shufflegazine.com are automatically posted. Just the title though, with a link to the full post.

Stay hungry. Stay Foolish.
Is it possible to disable shufflemagazine posts pop up during search for new posts?
It is very annoying to click on new posts and then click them again to be redirected to shufflemagazine.
Not sure exactly what you mean. What "pop up"? Don't think we're having any pop ups here or on shufflegazine.com.
I think it's "pop up" = "show up", not about pop-up menus... So Ravi's question would be: "Is it possible to disable shufflemagazine [sic] posts from showing up during search for new posts?"
Well I for one wouldn't want that. On the contrary I believe it enhances the search functionality to have those posts included.
However, the link redirection should be removed IMHO. Just like when I mentioned in another thread that hyperlinks should be underlined, I have to highlight the fact that forcing hyperlinks to open in a new window is equally user-unfriendly. And especially so when the original post contains nothing but a link, as in the case of those Shufflegazine pointers.
A click should follow the link "in place", as users can always ctrl-click or alt-click etc. if they want to open another tab or window. The user should be in control...

Hmm... so issue is that clicking on a link opens in a new window? That's forum wide I think and not Shufflegazine-story specific. Will have to look at what to do to change that, might be something simple.
Also not sure how to exclude them from search. Might be possible but doesn't seem to have been an issue so far.
About the links not being underlined. I've looked at the CSS and hopefully it shouldn't be a big thing to change.
Yes! that would actually be great. I could then decide if I am interested in reading more about the article and then click on the link.
