"Single Ladies for dating" Ads

Hi there... recently I have found new ads being posted in the site for single ladies available for dating !!! I do not think it is appropriate to have those kind of ADs in our site. I feel those ADS so cheap... emiratesmac site is not. What do you guys/girls feel ? I really do not find it nice. The ladies pictures posted look like Pros..tes.

I'll see if I can block them in Adsense. If anything similar comes up in the future, let me know.

I've put the URLs for those ads in the Adsense filter so they should not appear but it may take some time for that to take effect.

Those ads don't show up for me anymore so perhaps they've been cleared out by now.

Those don't but Muslim Singles do show up. It takes time to filter "funky" adds out. Just write them down and add them to the list of no-show adds.

Yepp, that's what I do. And I need everyone's help to report to me what adds they see because they may not show up for me.

I think this is a never-ending whack-a-mole game... just put in a few more domains in the block-list.

ruthfully, we all know its adsense and not this site, so I dont see why Magnus should be running around trying to whack them into what they "should" be. As to what I think. I think people have way too much time on their hands if they log onto a Mac site and start threads about how they dont like the ads.

In principle I kind of agree. But since starting this site it's been very important to us to respect local customs and we want to keep doing that. Yes it's a bit more work perhaps but worth it in the long run, at least that's what I have to believe.

And maybe we can eventually replace the Adsense with more relevant local ads

My point is this is a great site and just like all great sites it requires support, monetary support. Adsense is one way of doing so.

btw, 2 ads for UAE singles just poped up.

As for "local customs" Magnus, why should you bother when we have a bar and brothel on every other street?

I just find it weird that someone took time to come onto a Mac site and instead of contributing to technical issues is more interested in the ads that YOU DONT choose but google chooses.
