Well I guess you're right in a way; if respecting local customs is not appreciated then why bother? But that seems wrong to me. If I had started this site anywhere else in the world I'd still want the site to respect local customs, whatever they may be. That there are other things going on in society in general that is not exactly in line with that, shouldn't mean that we shouldn't try, I think. What does sometimes seem strange to me is that I, as someone not from here and this culture, is fighting hard for keeping Arabic in Shuffle/Shufflegazine and the site "clean", that it's not someone from here that does that.
Personally I want anyone to feel comfortable coming to the site to ask for help, offer help, or whatever it is. That means more work and probably less revenue (so far EmiratesMac.com is just a black hole of time and expenses

) but since I think it's the right thing to do I wouldn't want to do it any other way.
