Moderation of new users

Newly registered users have their first number of posts scanned for certain keywords and phrases and may be held in moderation. We try to get through moderated messages as fast as we can, but allow for at least 24 hours before inquiring into why a message you have posted has not appeared on the site. We do this to try to fight spamming, which has been a major problem on the site.

Spamming

If you register for an account with the intent to post messages containing ads for goods for sale, or other messages that are against our policies, you may be considered to be a spammer. If we deem you a spammer, we will immediately, without question, ban your account. If you feel you have been wrongly judged, get in touch with us, and make your case.

Notification of Changes
