I look forward to being an active member. I was guided to this group by mahmood the bahraini blogger. I have a lot of questions re Mac use in the UAE. I wish we had an authorized dealer here to go to for tutorials and other goodies that come with procare membership. I am excited about the new operating system Leopard due out next month. Does anyone know if we will need to buy a boxed version or if we will have the option of an online download? Thanks!

Hi Maclaurie, welcome.

Local Apple dealer is doing some Free tutorials these days on Final Cut Pro but you have to buy a Mac with Final Cut to be eligible for it. We as EmiratesMac run basic OSX and iLife training, and surely you can check our newsletter "Shuffle" were I place an Adobe Tutorial every month there.

Welcome to the site! Let's try to figure out how we can in the user group try to provide the things you're asking for.

Concerning Leopard download, I doubt it very much. It's probably only boxed version. But never say never with Apple.
