Smile 2 years of frustration with Apple in Saudi Arabia are over

Thanks to a direct response from Apple Inc
SaudiMac Good Conclusion to 2 Years of Frustration with Apple in Saudi Arabia

Mr. Talal will get a replacement MacBook Pro directly from Apple.

Apple is also aware of the problems with Apple IMC and looking into it

Good to hear that his problem has been resolved.
And that Apple still cares about us in the Middle East.

I noticed something, one of the stores here is no longer dealing with the IMC and they import their macs directly from the US. They also provide their own service center...

Anyone in UAE doing the same ?

There are a few grey market importers here.
After all, Dubai is the grey market capital of the world.

But iStyle is dropping prices and giving good offers and service, that it makes sense to stick with them.
Plus, you might run into warranty issues with them, since they aren't a certified service center.

Oops.

We have this discussion here all the time.
Especially about importing the stuff yourself.
I'm sure at one point it makes sense, but it is worth the relief to buy it from a legit place.

One of the reason, for here anyway, is this page
https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do

try to find Saudi Arabia, even with a complete list
