Mac resellers in Oman
Please post information about where you can buy Macs in Oman.
The one I know of is LoayOman. As of June 2007 they did not have any Macs in their Salalah showroom but they informed me they could ship them to Salalah for someone to look at.
Update: And some information from Appleme.ae.
Where to buy Mac, iPod, iPhone, Apple TV and more in Oman.

Shops
There is a store in Al Harthy Complex next to Sultan Shopping Centre at Shati Al Qurum that sells only Apple products and related software.
Also EMAX in City Centre in Seeb (Muscat) has the iMac and Macbook besides the various iPods.
These are places where I've actually been to, but there might be a few more or atleast one more
Also it takes longer for newer apple products to get to Oman, than say in UAE (usually 3-4 weeks) but its not always the same time frame, can be earlier too.

When I first arrived in Oman I bought a few things at the shop in the Al Harthy complex but they are very overpriced IMHO.
I have gone back there several times to get a conventional Ipod Dock as they seem to be the only place in Oman that stocks them but they always seem to be closed.

Mac Centre in Al Harthy is no longer an Apple authorised seller. For computers only Loay and Fusion Logic are authorised. OHI Electronics only sells iPods.
If you want to buy a Mac go to Fusion Logic. But if you want to buy an iPod don't go to any of the authorised parties, instead go to Al Emad in Al Araimi Complex or Jawharat Al Shatti. They get all the latest models much faster than the authorized guys and sell them about 30% cheaper.

In the last few months a new Apple shop has opened in the Safeer Mall in Sohar but, as always seems to be the case, they are expensive.
200OMR for an Apple TV and 50OMR for a remote Apple Ipod dock is on the expensive side...

Date is November 2010. MAC re-sellers in Oman ? Really, they are NOT listed to this day on the official Mac website. So perhaps they are just using the signage. I have contacted MAC International to verify if this business are operating officially or rather unofficially. Here is why. I have a MACBOOK PRO. One day my Mac went to all black screen. The Indian repair man who works at Loay International LLC in the Qurum branch told me that my 'model' was part of a recall. He asked me to just buy a new one. I was in shock. He said if I gave him 500 OMR (about 5000 Dirhams) he could order a new 'motherboard'. He stated that Mac no longer honors the RECALL of this product. Then he offered to sell me a 2nd hand mother board for 300 OMR (about 3000 Dirhams). Being no idiot. I quickly suspected he was making a profit and perhaps even lying outright on the issue. By luck I was heading to EUROPE that week. I went to the Mac Genius Bar. They said THEY DO HONOR THE RECALL and THE MOTHER BOARD IS FREE. They did the repair for free. I had no insurance or Mac Care on my Macbook in case you are wondering. This man who works at Loay International LLC I have contacted MAC International to report him. The local Oman community of Mac users is being abused as they have no Mac dealers to go to other than this thief. In the upcoming week you will SEE his name all over OMAN ENGLISH and ARABIC BLOGS. I intend to WARN all innocent Mac users that this man is a liar and this company is involved in outright fraud. If you have paid any money for a motherboard go to him and demand it back or file a fraud case with the local police. Mac will tell you they are STILL honoring the RECALLS no matter how OLD your MAC is. There was an official recall on some MACBOOK PROs but like myself did not get the information.

thank you for the link
Well, I have been again to the current Apple site and there is no link to Oman, still to this day.
Apple (United Kingdom) - Resource Locator
Oman is not listed, the UAE is. The company link you sent me is officially registered in the UAE. But Loay in
Oman is freely using Mac signage and saying the are a Mac reseller without permission of Mac.
The link you sent does not even have iPads advertised on it. A huge red flag. The link you sent proves the case further that LOAY is not a Mac Reseller.
The address for LOAY does not say Mac Reseller, which if you go to the actual shop, they are using Mac Reseller signage.
Also the 'repair' man is lying and charging people for recalled Macs that can be serviced FREE of Charge thru Mac.
The issue is now at the hands of the international office of Mac.
I have also read through threads on this site and see that some people have had the misfortune of buying Macs from this
same shop in Oman to only find that non original Mac parts were used and that it is counterfeiting.
For now please advise your friends to steer clear of LOAY in Muscat. I will post any updated response from Mac International on this site. Thank you and please continue to share your stories about abuses from this retailer.
