This is my first post to the forum, it’s very informative and enjoyable really.

I’m curious about Orkut and I wonder what you people think. As you know Orkut is social networking site operated by Google. It’s less popular than Facebook or Myspace and Twitter. There’s a chance that they can become more popular than Facebook? What do you think?

I wonder first what's the relevance of Orkut to an Apple site and especially the "Everything about Apple" forum?

No. Facebook is a runaway train. MySpace is a train wreck. And Twitter, well Twitter cannot be compared to FB and MS, as it is different by its nature. Twitter is another winner, but it has no competitors, IMHO.

I hate facebook, I maintain a myspace page for my music, and I think twitter, the site thats asks what am I doing now, is pointless as Im not a special person and what Im doing isnt that interesting and isnt anyone's business.

I agree with Magnus, what was the point of this post in this section? Maybe it should be moved to the off topic section.
