Google chrome os

id like 2 know when the google chrome os is coming out and if i can install it on my mac using parallels or bootcamp

You should be able to use it via Parallels, but that defeats the purpose.
It is essentially just a Chrome browser.
This OS is really cut down, with no local data on the machine.
So it makes sense to run it on a netbook only.

Here's a tutorial for installing the (free) Chrome OS on the (free) VirtualBox.

But, like fangpyre said it's just a browser in a VM, pretty boring for now.
Might be of interest for developers though (compatibility checking and all that...)
