Are they officially selling it now in the UAE? Where did you get it from and for how much? I have been running windows 7 since the beta and now I am running both 7 X64 RTM and OSX 10.6 on my macbook and I love both so far Snow leopard bootcamp drivers are really good and finally the touch pad is usable under windows. However, Apple states that support will come later this year . Not sure what they are waiting for since all drivers included for vista in bootcamp are functioning properly under 7 and the beta version was out since the beginning of the year.

No way man Win 7 is a rip off, it's a Newer version of vista with a little better GUI that's all. It has the Same stupid security qusetions of vista.

    So don't upgrade !

i just got my copy of Windows 7 Ultimate from Dubai mall on the 23rd right after they closed down GITEX Expo... it was retailed for 899Dhs too... no one was selling it for more than that... i have not installed it yet, still now tepmted to, plus after i heard there isnt any support from Bootcamp yet... then i think i might just wait till they do support it... plus i am not sure where i am going to install it... on which Mac at home to be more precise...

I have recently moved from Linux to windows 7 on my work computer for professional reasons My one biggest problem with Windows and Microsoft is their belief that there are no other operating systems that exist. Aside from OSX just working, I love OSX as it bridges the gap between corporate Microsoft and the open source world. Windows does not. My biggest example is openSSH I have at any given time 30 to 40 openssh terminals open. OSX provides me with tabbed terminals with the terminal App. Windows does not, I am stuck with third party products like putty to access these servers. I think that the windows OS in general (both Server and Desktop) would be a lot less hated if Microsoft accepted the existance of other operating systems. An Exchange Client for UNIX (other than OSX) would be amazing and would do wonders for Microsoft's PR department.

I don't think we will ever see that.
Exchange is one of the main reasons people use Windows Server.
There are other options out there, but not MS Exchange to most people.

This is cuz the CPU is being pressured.
    Don't worry about it.
