You have a number of options, check out Shufflegazine's November 2008 issue. Covered there is not CrossOver which is another option.
If you need help in actually installing some of this stuff I'd suggest you join EMUG and come to the next meeting.
Greetings all... I have a pretty simple question (pardon my ignorance, but I am quite hopeless with understanding how software and computers work).
I have a MacBook and would like to know if I can install and use MS Internet Explorer as the web browser from time to time. While I prefer Safari, there are some sites (related to my work) that only support Internet Explorer.
Do I need to first install Bootcamp (again, how do I do this?) and then download and install Internet Explorer?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

If price is an option then you can install wine, and use wine to run internet explorer.

You can also try changing the user agent in Safari. For that you need to enable developer mode through settings -> advanced. After restarting Safari, click Develop from the menu bar, select user agent, and then select internet explorer.
