Cant play wmv movies, videos on windows vista

HI,

I cant play wmv videos on windows media player we get with windows vista ultimate installed on my MacBook Pro with Parellels. I get message of codecs not installed i dont know how to solve this problem.

Will be glad if someone can help,

That's not exactly "Hints, tips, and tricks"... Does it say what codecs are missing?

Download Flip4Mac and Perian.
This should cover most formats.

i think he is getting the problem with vista, search the words CODECS on google, and then download codec PACKS, which shud cover most of the codecs... this will run MOST movies...

If Windows Media can't run Windows media (video or audio), who can?
For the sake of what's left of my respect for Windows, I hope his problem is in OSX.
But I agree with you guys, I guess that little respect is gone.
