Vista SP1 takes a long time...

I am installing Vista SP1 on my Bootcamp installation running with Fusion and the installer tells me:

The installation may take an hour or more.
That's one heck of an installation if it takes that long. The entire update file is about 430MB.

The real question is how long does it take to crash?
I'm sure it can do that in no time flat!!

No, to be fair it didn't take that long, I'd say somewhere between 30 and 45 minutes probably. Vista has been surprisingly stable and problem free for me, but then of course it's running on a MacBook Pro from a Bootcamp partition with Fusion
