yah Plasma's are a dying breed. Even Sony dropped Plasma's out and is manufacturing LCDs only(Bravia). Also Sharp does the best LCDs(Aquos series) along with Sony.

If you can wait for the Sony Bravia that out puts 1080p resolution that would be great. Sharp already has those btw

MBSS stands for Mathmeticaly Beautifull Screen Saver......it's a SS that has tiny explosion like fireworks...you need to see it in person. I personally love it and have it on my PC.

yep. btw, Blu-Ray and HD-DVD will both support 1080p.....and im sure all those new 1080p LCDs have an HDMI(it's digital) port for best picture quality. Make sure the native resolution is 1920x1080.

i'll be buying a new LCD within the next 6 month to compliment the arrival of the Playstation 3 (which out puts 1080p)

goodluck!

then wait for more 1080p LCDs sow up. they will be cheaper, and technology will improve in terms of refresh rate and response time.
