    Talking Sound problems

    just installed window 7 on my laptop...but im having quit a problem...theres no sound and it cant detect my cam...but when i open the control panel for my speaker or audio it says its working properly...plus when i looked at the audio driver it said that its up to date...what do i do?im still using mac os x 10.4.11...im upgrading it to snow leopard but my dad hasn't arrive yet...PLEASE HELP!!!
