shuffle Newsletter December 2006

It's here! I know it was due to be published tomorrow, but I thought why not go ahead and put it out there tonight since it's as finished as it's going to be anyway.

emug_newsletter_dec_2006.pdf [PDF 6.4Mb]

I've checked it in Acrobat Reader and Preview and it seems to work fine in both.

Next one will be out on January 5 2007.

I guess, this part of the world, we don't get to see much of publications/newsletters on Apple Mac stuff, I mean publications like "MacWorld" in news stands or/and @ book sellers. This is definitely a brilliant reference and guidance material. In fact, I print two copies, one for my file and other for our 'Magazine rack' @ my work place

That's funny, but a pretty good idea actually.

You're right, there's little or no print publication about Apple in this part of the world. In fact I don't know of any. Generally speaking print is in decline all over the world. However, wouldn't it be cool to make this into a print publication that could be distributed all over the Middle East?

Yeah, I can dream, can't I?

Personally I really like to read something on paper. Sure you can distribute a PDF faster and cheaper but how many want to read a PDF on the screen? Very few, I think. If I was subscribing to something distributed as PDF I would probably print it and read it. So personally I think there's room to get something like shuffle to get printed and circulated to readers, be it via mail or something else.

This is FANTASTIC! This is a proper PRO News letter man Great Job, I bet that took you weeks and many sleepless nights, but I was shocked that you put all that in one week.
This is so much work, I never expected this.
Keep up that work, and soon it will pay off.
Again, This is amazing. Thanks

Yeah, that's one week of not doing much else... I'd say two weeks or so for writing and editing the whole thing.

That's a wonderful idea! Thanks Fatima. I hope we have some changes for the next issue that would make an impact on these things.
