i am very sorry for not attending the meeting last nov 3 i was hospitalised. i was in for one month because i had an accident. ooops i think i am in the wrong site, well just the same i would like to thank you for such a wonderful publication. its very helpful as i dont understand so many things and i think with this publication it will solve most of my problems. more power.

You didn't miss anything, we had to cancel the meeting on Nov 3 and haven't rescheduled, but we'll have one in a few weeks time, I'm sure. I hope shuffle can help you with some things. Sorry to hear about the hospitalization, I hope you're doing better now.

I think this is my first Mac magazine in UAE. I could not find anything specific to Mac users here in Duabi since the time I landed here and here I find the site and a magazine dedicated to the Mac Users here.

Do you accept contributions from the user group for the magazine?

Absolutely!

If you have something written already, send it to me. If you have ideas, send me an email and we can discuss them. Generally speaking, we're open to anything from members.

I'm glad you call it a magazine. It's still our newsletter but with sponsorships we hope to one day be able to distribute it printed like a magazine.

As a matter of fact senthil the user group members are encouraged to contribute, and are doing so. You are most welcome in sending any material you wish to be published in Shuffle or here at the site.

I was totally caught by surprise today. A few europens were guided to my office by the attendant of Dome Cafe (in the same building were I am located) - they were brought to me because they wanted to see if the next issue of our newsletter is out.

I was thrilled ofcourse and gave them the website address. Said it would be posted here and its free for download. They left happy. Said they were shocked and such a professional newsletter / organization is here in the Emirates. they also thought initially it was done by Apple themselves.

Then I got a note from the manager of Dome - asking me to provide EMUG Jan newsletter binded just like the last one and a few more copies if possible as people are taking them away.

I was sooo happy.

I told him - on the board which says todays special - they should add "Shuffle Served Here"

That's amazing Fatima, way to go! I really hope we can print copies and distribute it at some point, because I think it's a high-quality publication that deserves better exposure. We just need to find some sponsors.

And the next issue is out tomorrow.

Sounds good chief. I think its spreading just fine - Baby Steps as Misho says. I think I will use my color copier to print duplex and have the manager of Dome put it at every branch.

hmm... why didnt i think of that before.
