The new iMac can double as a weapon, with a pedestal sharp enough to actually kill a man:

    Isn't 27" too big?
I am sure there will be some use for it.
It comes with an optional VESA mount, which is great.
But who uses that big a screen?

I like the 16:9, but other than that there isn't that much of a change.
But I wonder how far the ATI GPU's will go in Apple.
nVidia is down in a hole, and it seems Apple is not too happy.
Weird, things were moving towards its advantage.

The mouse is great, but I have to wonder how ergonomic that is.
    But darn it looks good.

Fangpyre, believe me, I have the 24" iMac and know I see it small for me now (strange!!!!) but it is the reality.

For the new mouse, will we be able to enter expose mode with that new multi touch mouse?

I have a 24" iMac as well and the day I took it out of the box the screen was gigantic! But after using it a while it doesn't seem so big now. I've found lots of ways to use the size. Size and speed are two things I can adjust to real fast.

As it isnt a NEED (but it is a huge want!) for me, I'll be sticking to my trusty 2 Ghz 20 inch iMac. However, that mouse MUST BE MINE!

My main beef with the mighty mouse was the scroll ball. This is my 2nd mighty mouse because the ball would get dirty and malfunction.

This new minnie mmouse... er... magic mouse, will fix that.

    what what what

    hello all!!
i'm so glad there's a new mouse!! this mouse has been haunting me since I started using macs and never got comfortable with it..
the new imac's look great, but does apple here do that thing where if you buy their product and within a certain amount of time if a new version comes out, they upgrade (i.e. give you the new version)...
i know they do that in canada with cellphones....

Apple normally does that with the OS - I think it's 15 days.

They did that in the US around 2001-2002 if new hardware was available within 30 days.

Many retailers here dont even make refunds if a product is BROKEN, so I highly doubt something like this can be found around here.

Who wants a mouse? I'm ordering! Payment on delivery. (plus my commission) lol.
