| Back in Sep 05, I purchased my Dual 2.7 G5, Exactly the same day, they have released the Quad version. That was really annoying as i wanted to get the 30" too. So I decided to wait. When are they going to change the Cinema Display! Are they going to integrate the iSight? Will there be a 42" Display! It usually takes they 15 months to come up with new screens. Right! |

| Thinner would be nice obviously. Built-in iSight? Sure, why not. That seems to be the way they are going with everything and it won't cost them much to put it in there since the built-in iSight is now mass-produced so it can be put in all the Macs. One thing I've liked about Dell monitors, apart from a much lower price than the Cinema Displays, is the built-in card readers. Sure I have an external USB card reader but not having to have it attached would be convenient. And more USB and Firewire ports, please, Apple, so I can do away with an external USB hub. What are pros interested in? Perhaps some built-in physical color-matching technology? I know if you stick with ColorSync you get pretty good matching, but for those who really need to accurately match colors I guess there's no substitute for a physical color-matching device. But I think that'll be a small segment of Apple's customers so it won't happen. Other than that? Why not make the Cinema Displays pressure sensitive? Sell a special clear cover for the surface and let people use it as a tablet, basically. There are so many who buy something like a Wacom tablet to use with their Macs. Why not use the 30" for that? anyways this is out of topic..lol... back to the displays... i have wanted one of those sexy screens for soo long, and its not the money... its fact that u know something will come up cooler, sexyer and more Appleish every time u buy something... anyways... the display will deffenetly sorry to say have any card readers.. thats not Apple style... but the iSight... just take my word for it... it will added to the displays... we can only wish for bigger and thinner displays. but if u look at all the other new intel computers... isight has been integrated into the screen... and it is 100% needed for the new fetures in Leopard like frontrow and ichat specialy now that they even mentioned that they will be bondeling it with the OS for those even without a camera... | |
