| Careful not to delve into this issue too much. But it was originally launched on the Mac. A number of us guys have already upgraded to 2.0. My recommendation is to wait a bit. 2.1 is already being tested. And Installer still doesn't work (though Cyndia already does.) |

| On the same lines as fangpyre, guess you should wait for the 2.1 to comeout. 2.0 in itself was a real desperate attempt in release. But better yet, the 2.1 shows traces of new GPS features and also the long awaited "copy and paste" function. So worth the wait .. |

Users initially were eager to remove the strict controls over installing software and run the handset with other carriers. While the iPhone App Store has allowed for the distribution of third-party applications, there remains a dedicated group of users wishing to run older third-party applications and software which have not been approved for the Store. |
