I still wonder why this doesnt show up on the apple sites or when someone has 1.1.4 and wants to update.

I forked out the $10 for the upgrade for my Touch and I'm very happy with it so far.

Same here, just updated it on sunday and i am much pleased with the update. Seeing the jailbreak of 1.1.5 being very close and possible, i would rather stick to 2.0. Besides have you run into the infamous "verifying software" delay while updating ? I had to wait for a whole 15 mins just to see itunes change screens.
